RAPID DEPLOY: Modular Technologies for Capturing and Converting Waste Carbon

August 17-18, 2021, 1-5PM ET   |   VIRTUAL

The RAPID DEPLOY Conference Series offers attendees an invite-only opportunity to engage in a mixture of invited talks and active workshop-style sessions culminating in a synthesis activity and an actionable report out. The second in the series will focus on modular technologies for capturing and converting waste carbon, particularly CO₂, to valuable products. Specifically, the conference will explore:

Carbon Capture: We are particularly interested in solutions that lend themselves to intermediate-scale processes and technologies that are more easily bolted on to existing processes which can separate waste carbon.

Carbon Utilization: We will identify modular platforms for waste carbon beneficiation that occurs at intermediate scales with an emphasis on conversion to valuable products.

What to Expect

  • Define and solve problems associated with deploying modular technologies for capturing and converting waste carbon
  • Share technologies and opportunities for collaboration through an attendee lightning round
  • Receive free access to the Intensified Reaction Processes RAPID eLearning course ($895 value)
  • Take action with the complimentary copy of the DEPLOY conference report-out shared no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.

Speakers

Klaus Lackner

Director for the Center Negative Carbon Emissions and Professor at Arizona State University

Klaus is a leading thinker on distributed air capture. Modular technologies underpin distributed air capture is critical and DAC plays a major role in decarbonizing the atmosphere.

Ramanan Krishnamoorti

Chief Energy Office at University of Houston

Ramanan has been engaged in discussions around how to decarbonize the fossil sector for many years. He brings the perspective of both industry and academia on where and how refining natural gas extraction, commodity chemicals, and power generation can be decarbonized in cost-effective and meaningful ways.

KC Tran

Co-Founder Carbon Recycling International

KC brings experience from the commercialization of a waste CO₂ to product platform. He brings practical experience of what has actually worked.
