In recent years, a great deal of dust from industrial exhaust emissions has seriously polluted the atmosphere. Particle bed dedusting technology is generally recognized as an effective high temperature gas dedusting technology, which has a wide range of applications and has a good prospect of development.

A new type of axial moving-bed gas-solid separation technology was proposed in this paper, which promote the fluency of granule flow by the method of gas-solid downstream and add multi-discharge cone, with using the spout-regeneration device to regenerate the captured granule. This technology can make the equipment has a low pressure drop and capture fine dust efficiently in case of fulfilling a certain gas residence time.

In this paper, we focus on gas-solid separation, flow characteristics and pressure drop of the gas-solid concurrent axial moving-bed. The appropriate operating conditions and improvement measures were determined by observing and analyzing the influence of operational control factors on the separation characteristics of the moving-bed. By investigating the distribution of internal pressure drop and pressure, moving velocity of the granule phase and gas residence time and so on, the internal gas-solid flow law is determined, which provides reference for structural optimization and industrial design of the equipment.
