Back to Basics

Through time, many Process Safety practices have become more complex and sophisticated. New tools and technologies have emerged to provide a high-tech approach to a number of aspects of process safety. Process Safety Management needs to be successfully implemented by all companies in the process industry, regardless of sophistication. This session seeks papers that identify and reinforce basic Process Safety principles and practices which are critical foundational elements to the success of any Process Safety Management program for organizations of all sizes and complexities. Papers which address basics appropriate for new process safety practitioners are preferred.
