Some of the most critical pieces of equipment in an ethylene plant are the compressors. Operators are constantly making sure that these machines are operating at maximum efficiency. However, operators are also challenged with new feedstocks and new operating conditions because of changing markets. This session will address how these process requiements impact the machinery performance and how they are considered during the design phase. This session will be one of 15 sessions that will be offered in the 2010 Ethylene Producers Conference in San Antonio, TX from March 22-25, 2010. The 2010 Conference will be the 22nd Annual Ethylene Producers Conference which is the premier annual event where those involved in the industry can meet to discuss mutual problems and solutions.
