(235d) Improved Chromatographic Distributors through CFD Modeling

Chromassette® cassettes are modular chromatographic devices under development for biopharm applications. These novel devices have a rectangular geometry, multi-level distributors and a bed-supporting scaffold. CFD modeling was used to explore alternative distributor designs as well as alternative scaffolds. The results of that exploratory work will be presented.
