Nanorods and Nanowires: Synthesis, Processing, and Applications

Chair(s):
Rogers, R. E. Jr., University of Missouri
Co-chair(s):
Green, M., Texas A&M University

This session will address nanowire synthesis strategies using vapor phase, solution, electrochemical, and template-based techniques and characterization methods, including imaging and in-situ studies of growth. The session will also solicit papers dealing with modeling aspects of nanowire growth and structure-property relationships. Finally, paper discussing use of nanowires in electronic, optical, optoelectronic and biological applications will also be included and discussed.
