We present a crude pseudo-component model based on Lee-Kesler correlations and predictive Peng-Robinson 1978 (PPR78) model to study the phase behavior of mixtures of crude oils and near-critical water or supercritical water. We develop a structural analysis of crude oils to bridge  Lee-Kesler correlations and the PPR78 model, which enables the phase equilibrium calculations for the mixture of crude oils and water. This model is also applicable to study the phase behavior of mixtures of supercritical CO2 and crude oils under the reservior conditions.
