The SSSpinTester purports to generate flow functions of bulk solids with 0.5 cc of material at stresses as low as 50 Pa.  Clearly such a technique would be very useful practically – especially for early stage new product development.  However, the capability has lacked any third party validation.  Here we present flowability data generated on via the SSSpinTester and a Schulze Ring Shear Tester over multiple materials, varying over a range of material properties.
