Chair(s)

Gomez, E. W., Pennsylvania State University

Co-chair(s)

Banerjee, I., University of Pittsburgh

This session focuses on approaches for engineering cells and microenvironments for tissue engineering applications. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: engineered microenvironments to control cell differentiation and function, chemical and mechanical cues for guiding cell phenotype, novel agents to promote cell differentiation and function, and co-culture systems for the development of complex tissues.
