Nanotechnology and Nanobiotechnology for Sensors

Chair(s)

Bhethanabotla, V. R., University of South Florida

Co-chair(s)

Sankaranarayanan, S., Argonne National Laboratory

This session seeks contributions pertaining to the development of nanotechnology and nanobiotechnology for application to chemical, biological and other types of sensors. Papers addressing issues such as biocompatibility, toxicity, uptake and targeting in utilizing nanomaterials in sensor applications in vivo and in vitro are suitable. Papers involving experimental, theoretical and computational work on nanoscale science and engineering for sensors are welcome. Bionanotechnology Graduate students: By applying to this session you may be eligible for the 22b Bionanotechnology Graduate Student Award Session (22B08) established to honor students whose research achievements in bionanotechnology demonstrates a high level of excellence.
