Simulation-Based Engineering and Science for Biomedical Advances I

Cummings, P. T., Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Theory, modeling and simulation is making great contributions to advances in biomedical sciences and engineering. This session of invited and contributed talks will explore recent advances in tools and applications of simulation-based engineering and science for biomedical advances. Papers are welcome on mathematical modeling and theoretical and computational approaches to protein modeling and prediction, pharmaceutical processing and drug design, understanding and/or treatment of disease, imaging, cryogenics and preservation, nanomedicine, and related topics in biomedical science, engineering and technology.
