This session will deal with the engineering and business challenges and opportunities in adding value to cellulosic substrates by adding "smart" features. This can include RFID, printed electronics, smart packaging, sensors, responsive materials, novel security features, and so forth. The intent is to help others better understand how commodity products such as packaging, cartons, and paper can become products with significant added value.
