Technology Transfer in a Global Environment

In today's global work environment, process development teams are often not physically located together. It is common for team members from the R&D laboratories, pilot facilities, and commercialization sites to all be geographically separated. Additionally, home offices have expanded beyond regional sales and become commonplace for a variety of roles. Location differences and the subsequent increase in virtual meetings present a new set of challenges, particularly for technology transfer. Effective technology transfer from laboratory to production scale is critical to ensure success and profitability.
