Abstract Text:

The selection of co-solvent discussed in drug production process is one of important themes. The calculation of the solid-liquid equilibria for the drug + water + co-solvent (liquid and solid) is made using activity coefficient models [1, 2].

This article deals with the calculation of solubilization power and stability constant [3, 4] using ternary infinite-dilution activity coefficients. The selection of solvents is considered for etodolac + water + co-solvents (cyclodextrin derivatives, 1,4-dioxane, methanol) system.
