Polymer Viscoelasticity: Mechanics, Processing, and Rheology

Chair(s)

Ricarte, R., FAMU-FSU College of Engineering

Co-chair(s)

Sharma, V., University of Illinois At Chicago
Hashmi, S., Northeastern University

This session seeks papers covering all experimental and theoretical aspects of polymer processing and viscoelasticity, with a focus on relating rheological and mechanical properties during processing and post-processing to polymer structure and dynamics. Papers that focus on fundamental physical properties and those that focus on processing technologies and formulation, including extrusion, electro-spinning, fiber spinning, and 3D printing, are equally welcome. ***Note to faculty candidates: please include a note to the session chair during submission to alert them to your status***+++Note: this session will be sorted jointly with “Complex Fluids: Polymers and Macromolecules.” Authors whose work falls under the scope of both sessions may submit to either.+++
