This session addresses new developments in multiphase and liquid phase reaction engineering. Papers that address aspects of reactor design and development such as hydrodynamics, kinetics, scale-up and modeling are invited. This includes, but is not restricted to bubble columns, trickle beds, air lift reactors, mechanically agitated gas-liquid, liquid-liquid and gas-liquid solid tanks, loop reactors, and fluidized beds, with chemical, biochemical and energy applications.
