Announcement

As 25 previously selected projects begin and 49 newly submitted projects wind their way through our rigorous review process, the RAPID Manufacturing Institute is seeking a Program Manager who can assist us in implementing our strategic plans and moving our project teams forward.

True to our name and mandate, the RAPID Manufacturing Institute is working hard to make a difference in the field of process intensification (PI) and the Program Manager will be expected to take on many roles and responsibilities to help us get the job done.

“We are looking for a candidate who not only has strong technical skills but also who is a strong project manager and problem-solver,” states James Bielenberg, RAPID’s Chief technology Officer (CTO).

The Program Manager will work with RAPID’s CTO to facilitate a wide range of technical activities within the Institute and will function as a key interface with both RAPID project teams as well as the DOE technical and contracting functions. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to, supporting project reviews, facilitating budget and work plan submissions, and communicating RAPID’s progress at public events/conferences.

James Bielenberg adds, “RAPID is a small but versatile team that values creativity and flexibility, and we are looking for the right candidate who can complement as well as add constructively to our efforts.”
