RAPID Names Ignasi Palou-Rivera as Chief Technology Officer
Effective April 2021, RAPID is pleased to announce that Dr. Ignasi Palou-Rivera has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer, RAPID. Over the last two years, Ignasi has served as RAPID’s Technology Platform Director, leading RAPID’s interactions with the U.S. National Laboratory complex, managing RAPID’s Focus Area Leaders, and playing the key role with Department of Energy in managing and modifying all of our R&D projects. He joined RAPID in 2017 as a Technical Program Manager after holding engineering roles at LanzaTech, Argonne National Lab, BP, and Applied Materials.
“Ignasi is RAPID’s resident expert on building and managing R&D partnerships with our members. He has deep knowledge of and experience with all of our project teams. This is an exciting opportunity for Ignasi to bring his process development and sustainability expertise to further shape the CTO role.” said RAPID CEO, Bill Grieco.
