Over the years, Dr. Luo held positions of increasing responsibilities in R&D, business and product development, manufacturing, and program management functions at Honeywell, Linde/Praxair, Delphi/GM Corporations where she received numerous awards and honors including Linde Global Innovation Award, Praxair Innovation Award, induction into the Delphi Innovation Hall of Fame, Delphi Boss Kettering Award, Society of Automotive Engineering’s Environmental Excellence in Transportation Award, Delphi Environmental and Energy Project of Year Award.

Dr Luo is a technology leader with broad industrial experiences in R&D innovation strategy, technology development, roadmap and portfolio management, and process technology development.  She led initiatives to improve the competitiveness of air separation plant and process gas separation systems. She managed the development and commercialization of multiple high impact and novel industrial gas separation technologies and created winning offerings to meet market needs.

Dr Luo has been actively involved in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and US Department of Energy’s Rapid Advancement in Process Intensification Deployment (RAPID) Manufacturing Institute. She served as the RAPID Governing Board Chair in 2020, and subsequently served as Past Chair. She is an elected AIChE fellow.
