Yawei Li is a Ph.D. candidate at Drexel University – Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. He is fully expected to graduate in June 2019. He received his MBA and MS in Chemistry from University of Houston Clear Lake in 2011 and 2012 respectively. He received his BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Anhui University of Architecture, China in 2009. His Ph.D. dissertation spans a variety of materials engineering and chemical engineering, and his current research is focusing on optimizing activity/durability balance in electrocatalytic materials, especially for renewable energy conversion technologies, such as fuel cells. His recent work has been published in ACS Catalysis and Journal of Catalysis. He has been awarded a research fellowship by DAAD and also received Ph.D. Student Achievement Award from Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University.
