Xiaolin Chen graduated from Iowa State University with a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2022. After that, she has been working at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as a Postdoctoral Researcher for 7 months. Her research focuses are renewable transportation fuel production and waste-to-energy based on lignocellulosic biomass thermochemical conversions. Her technologies involve fast pyrolysis, solvent liquefaction, and hydroprocessing. Her research goal is to fully leverage the characteristics of the waste feedstocks and maximize the product values.
