Wan-Zhen Lin

I am a PhD Candidate in Malmstadt Laboratory for Biomimetric Phase Interfaces. My research focuses on microfluidics and its applications in promoting cancer diagnosis and treatment. The work I am presenting in AIChE aims to speed reagent development for cancer-relevant protein targets by establishing an automated microfluidic platform for mRNA display. In addition to this work, I also study high-throughput, size-based nanoparticle separation methods to isolate cytotoxic extracellullar vesicles from activated natural killer cells for cancer immunotherapy. As part of the projects, I design and formulate biocompatible 3D-printing resin for microfluidic devices.
