Vinita Shinde

I am a Ph.D. student at Auburn University. My research is focused on self-healing polymer systems and their application in additive manufacturing. Engineered materials are prone to damages or degradation at certain stages of their life. My research includes incorporating microcapsules containing healing fluid in the polymer matrix to extend the lifetime of 3D printed polymeric objects to provide safer, smarter, and long lasting materials.
