Thomas Nolan

Tom Nolan is the Principle State Based Control Consultant for Emerson, Tom joined Emerson in April of 2013. He brings more than 30 years of state based control experience from his tenure at Dow Chemical. Tom has designed and implemented state based control for numerous green and brown field project as well as optimization projects. He has also developed and taught a training class in how to design state based control. In this role he was responsible for the identification and proliferation of the Most Effective Technologies for process control and optimization as well as mentoring, development and direction of the process control staff. Tom is certified as both an MAIC and DFSS six sigma black belt. He graduated from Ohio University in 1989 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
