Stephen S. Doliente

I am a faculty (on-study leave) in the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños. I have degrees in B.Sc. Chemical Engineering and M.Sc. Energy Engineering from UP Diliman. Before joining UP Los Baños, I held research positions in UP Diliman and Nanyang Technological University Singapore. My research interests in the past eight years are on sustainable energy and chemical technologies such as biofuels, nanofluids, flue gas desulfurisation and waste valorisation. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate under the Ph.D. Research Programme in Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath (2018 - present) with the dissertation on biomass value chains and the environment-food-energy-water nexus in the Philippines: whole-systems analysis and optimisation.
