University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Assistant Professor (2016-present) Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering University of Nebraska-Lincoln Postdoctoral Associate (2013-2016) Yale University Ph.D. (2007-2013) Drexel University Siamak Nejati (He/Him) graduated from Sharif University of Technology in 2007 and continued his study abroad at Drexel University, where he obtained his Ph.D. under the kind supervision of Professor Kenneth K. S. Lau. During his Ph.D. he worked on developing novel vapor phase polymerization pathways. He continued his research in polymer science, and during his postdoctoral training learned the fundamentals of colloidal science and polymer physics from Professor Elemelich and Osuji, respectively. In 2016, he established a laboratory at the University of Nebraska and since then has been working on interfacial science and materials synthesis to enable a technological leap in the space of 2D polymer and 3D organic-inorganic materials.
