Shraddha Maitra

I am a postdoctoral research associate working for Vijay Singh on the CABBI and ROGUE project. I work on developing high-throughput NMR technology for the quantification and characterization of in-situ lipids in transgenic bioenergy crops and novel bioprocessing methods to enhance the yields of biofuel and high-value byproducts. My research interest areas are fermentation, microbial biotechnology, Bioenergy and TEA. I have received my bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Indraprastha University in New Delhi, India, PhD in biochemical engineering and biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and is now working on postdoc in bioprocess engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Shraddha's work has been published in GCB Bioenergy, Biotechnology for Biofuels, and Bioresource Technology.
