Refinery Optimization Engineer with over 25 years of experience in refinery process, design, operations, automation and project management role. Shashi has worked on one of the largest grass root refinery project in senior management role. He has been associated with real-time process and optimization projects on all types of process units in refinery and petrochemical industry. Recently, he has been involved with successful NIR (Near Infrared) and NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) analyzer projects throughout the refinery achieving very large paybacks. He has successfully implemented nonlinear dynamic blending optimization strategies on gasoline, diesel and jet rundown headers eliminating the needs of components tanks. Also, he has developed refinery wide end-to-end real time optimization methodology covering entire refinery processes from crude to final product blending.
