Mr. Eaton is a Ph.D. Student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maine - Orono. He has research focuses on the production and performance characterization of alternative fuels through the Forest Bioproducts Research Institute (FBRI). Mr. Eaton has over 10 years of experience in chemical engineering and combustion research having held positions at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Fuels, Engines and Emissions Research Center (FEERC) at the National Transportation Research Center (NTRC) and the Maine Maritime Academy. In that time, he has authored 22 publications in the development of alternative fuels, advanced combustion engines and emissions after-treatment technology. He is a member of SAE, ASME and AIChE.
