Rainer Hoff
Rainer Hoff is president and founder of Gateway Group, and a Fellow of AIChE. He began his career as a professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, and founded Gateway Group in 1991. Since then, Gateway has focused on providing solutions for Risk-Based Process Safety, Pipeline Safety Management, and solutions for electronic document management in the chemical, petroleum and electric power industries. Dr. Hoff was Chair of the 2015 Global Congress on Process Safety and the 2013 chair of the Process Plant Safety Symposium (PPSS). He is a member of the Center for Chemical Process Safety Technical Steering Committee and the Safety and Health Division.
