Rahul Bindlish

?Rahul Bindlish is the Advanced Control & Operations Leader at Dow with accountability for model predictive controllers, real-time optimizers and scheduling applications at Dow. He has co-authored numerous external publications, and is a frequent speaker at AIChE meetings and Aspen Optimize conferences.? He has received nine Dow technology center awards for technology innovations that have a 10-year net present value of approximately $320 million. He is the recipient of the 2017 AIChE Computing Practice Award for his technology contributions and service to the process systems engineering community. Rahul serves as AIChE CAST division director (2020-2022) and also as programming chair for FOCAPO/CPC 2022 meeting. Rahul has chaired Aspentech’s AC&O industrial users group from 2008-2013; chaired several AIChE CAST division sessions and served on the programming committee of FOCAPO/CPC 2017. He received a Ph.D. (Ch.E.) from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999 for his research on Nonlinear Control of Polymerization Processes.??
