Nirupama Gopalaswami

Nirupama works as a Process Safety consultant in Honeywell Process Solutions. She is responsible for developing and executing consultancy related to fire and gas systems. She is also responsible for early safety lifecycle activities like Safety Integrity Level analysis and risk analysis. She participates in all areas of implementation and realization phase covering the design of fire and gas systems, burner management systems and safety instrumented systems. Nirupama received her PhD in Chemical engineering from Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center at Texas A&M University, College Station and Bachelors degree from India. Her research was focused on LNG leaks. She has authored many peer reviewed publications and has presented her research in several international conferences focused on process safety.
