Matthew A. McDonald is a postdoc researcher in the group of Klavs Jensen at MIT, where he works on accelerating molecular discovery with automation and machine learning. Before joining MIT in 2020 he was a graduate student at Georgia Tech. His PhD on enzymatic reactive crystallization was advised by Andreas Bommarius, Martha Grover, and Ronald Rousseau. His research interests include using machine learning and high-throughput experimentation to enable the development of crystallization processes for pressing issues.
