Marta Hatzell is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently Dr. Hatzell's research group focuses on exploring the role photochemistry and electrochemistry may play in future sustainable systems. Dr. Hatzell was awarded awarded the NSF Early CAREER award in 2019 for her work on distributed solar-fertilizers, the 2020 Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellowship in Chemistry, and the 2020 Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award.
