Kindle is a 5th-year Ph.D. candidate in the Manthiram Lab at MIT ChemE. Her thesis work has involved electrochemical transformations such as carbon dioxide reduction and organic C-H activation reactions. She is particularly interested in how solution non-idealities affect heterogeneous catalytic reaction rates. She is currently considering career steps toward the application of electrochemistry to solving the global climate problem. Outside of research she is heavily involved in community service, student advocacy, and intramural sports. She completed her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alabama in 2016. She is originally from White House, Tennessee.
