Julia Jimenez Romero

Dr. Julia Jimenez-Romero is the Research Director of Advanced Process Integration Ltd., a UK-based consulting company specializing in energy efficiency and sustainability consultation, software, and training for process industry systems. She is also a visiting researcher at the Centre for Process Integration at the University of Manchester. Julia has a combined academic and industrial experience of over 5 years in energy efficiency and energy systems. She worked for several industrial sites as an environmental consultant and energy auditor. Her experience ranges from systems modelling to developing decision-making frameworks consider the lifecycle criterion. Julia's research focuses on the creation and development of pathways to sustainable industrial energy systems that take into account both economic and environmental lifecycle impacts. Her technical specialties include heat integration, utility and energy system design and optimization, linear and nonlinear programming, data clustering, and lifecycle analysis.
