Juanita Miller

Juanita is currently the NMSU College of Engineering Safety Specialist with degrees in Chemical and Civil Engineering. She is a Professional Engineer, OSHA Outreach Trainer, Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and an FCC Amateur Radio License. Her first career was in semiconductor as a photolithography process engineer. Texas Instruments named her Member of Technical Staff for contributions in polyimide over coating. She holds four US Patents in conjunction with TI. Her second career at CDM Smith where she used her Civil Engineering degree to design water and wastewater treatment. Then she began her third career in Safety at Air Liquide where she was an Industrial Risk Manager performing hazard risk assessments. She took this safety experience and taught courses for the UTA DED OSHA Training Institute.
