Henry L. Febo

Mr. Febo is AVP and Senior Engineering Technical Specialist in the Engineering Standards Division at FM Global where he has worked for 45 years. He has developed numerous FM Global loss prevention engineering standards. His areas of expertise include the hazards of flammable liquids and gases, combustible dusts, reactive chemicals and chemical plants. He has Chemical Engineering degrees from Drexel University (BS), New York University (ME) and is a registered Professional Engineer. He has been a member of several NFPA standards committees for hazardous chemicals and combustible dusts for about 25 years and a member of the AIChE Safety and Health Division & LPS organizing committee for 25 years. He has been recognized by AIChE for contributions to the field of safety and health by election as Fellow. He has presented prior papers at the LPS and other technical organizations and has been published in several technical publications.
