Greg Oliver

Bio for: Greg Oliver Greg Oliver holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and is a Certified Safety Professional. He began his career as a Process Engineer with Texaco Chemical Company in Port Neches, Texas. Over the first 30+ years of his career, Greg held various process engineering and operations & plant management roles. Huntsman Chemical Corporation acquired Texaco Chemical Company in the mid-1990’s. At the time of the Huntsman acquisition, Greg was the site manager at the Port Neches, Texas facility which was the largest and most complex site within the company. For the past 18 years, Greg has been directly involved in Process Safety with various positions. His current role is the Global Process Safety Director which includes oversight for Huntsman’s Corporate Process Safety programs and Leadership of the Corporate Process Safety group.
