Farnaz Esmaeili Rad

Farnaz Esmaeili Rad is presently working on her Ph.D. research project under supervision of Prof. Arastoopour in chemical engineering with a focus on mathematical modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of carbon capture. Her research in the area of carbon capture is based on a novel regenerative process for CO2 removal from Syngas using a Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) loop system and focused on mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of CO2 sorption and regeneration in a CFB system.
