Chaitanya Gottimukkala

Chaitanya Gottimukkala is a Senior Risk Engineer at RISKbytes Inc, where he supports Oil & Gas Companies to manage their Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) risks for both onshore and offshore facilities. Prior to that he worked as a Process Engineer (Process Safety and Fire Protection) with CB&I, where he has had the opportunity to work on projects including LNG, refining, petrochemical facilities providing process engineering design, process safety and fire protection design and support. Mr. Gottimukkala has a M.E.S degree in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University, TX and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from J.N.T University in India. His Masters thesis involved the use of computational fluid dynamic (CFD) techniques to estimate industrial flare emissions, and to predict the dispersion of pollutants from vehicular exhaust pipes. Mr. Gottimukkala is the current Secretary for the South Texas Section (STS) of AIChE.
