Catherine Brewer

Catherine Brewer completed a BS in Chemistry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biorenewable Resources & Technology at Iowa State University. She completed a postdoc within the departments of Earth Science and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Rice University. She began her current position as assistant professor of Chemical Engineering at New Mexico State University in fall 2013. Her research interests include biomass pyrolysis, biochar, water resource management, soil quality, and sustainable agriculture.
