Brian Atkinson

Pete Sharpe is currently the Director, Industry Solutions Development for Emerson Automation Solutions. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has over 35 years of experience in the process control industry, in both technical and management roles, specializing in Advanced Process Control. He has helped refiners, petrochemical manufacturers, utilities and polymer plants around the world design, justify and implement major automation projects and control system upgrades. He is currently responsible for managing the engineering and development of Emerson’s industry-specific applications for monitoring and control of plant assets.
