Atul Dubey

Dr. Atul Dubey received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, NJ USA, in 2007. He worked as a Research Associate at the NSF Engineering Research Centre (NSF-ERC) for Structured Organic particulate Systems (C-SOPS) at Rutgers University, NJ USA till April 2012. He joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur as an Assistant Professor in May 2012. In January 2013, he took up the position of Asst. Project Manager at Tridiagonal Solutions, India. His group provides consulting services, training and development and deployment of specialized solutions in the area of granular mechanics. He uses computational tools (DEM and CFD based) and experimental techniques for the design, improvement and troubleshooting of various manufacturing unit operations with a special focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Specific areas of interest include powder mixing, segregation, granulation, tablet coating, capsule filling, etc. He has authored several peer reviewed journal articles in these areas
