Ankur Pariyani

Ankur Pariyani is a PhD Candidate in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. In his doctoral research with Dr. Warren Seider, he is developing new risk analysis techniques to improve safety, reliability, and quality of large-scale chemical plants by utilizing their alarm databases. His other research interests include alarm management, process modeling and simulation and Bayesian statistics. He received his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in May 2006.
