Andrea Aude

Andrea Aude was raised in Maryland and is a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering and a concentration in Chinese. She is working with Dr. Esther Heid to research the influence of template size on algorithm accuracy of retrosynthesis and forward reaction applications. As she continues to work with Dr. Heid, she is looking forward to diving deeper into cheminformatics. Outside of class and research, she’s a community service deputy for Kappa Alpha Theta, and a student activities liaison and chair on the community service executive committee for MIT’s chapter of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Andrea enjoys exploring the city, hiking, and drawing.
