Dr. Allan Issangya, Senior Research Engineer Project Leader, Particulate Solid Research, Inc. (PSRI), Chicago, USA: Dr Issangya has been with PSRI for more than 20 years. His work has covered a wide variety of areas in fluidized bed technology including bubbling and turbulent fluidized beds, fluidized bed stripping, fluidized bed internals, CFB risers, gas bypassing, standpipes, loop seals, granular filters, high pressure fluidization, scaling laws and scale-up. Allan holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and MSc from Leeds University. He has done internships at Tweedy of Burnley Ltd, UK and at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
