Adel Elsharkawy

Adel Elsharkawy is a professor of Petroleum Engineering at Kuwait University. He is author or co-author of more than 80 refereed published papers in international journals and technical papers in various subjects including EOR, fluid phase behavior, reservoir simulation, wax, asphaltenes, and oilfield emulsions. He holds a B.Sc. and M. Sc. degrees from SCU and Ph. D. degree from CSM all in petroleum Engineering. (2005). He is a reviewer for many journals including Petroleum Science and Engineering, Fluid Phase Equillibria, and SPE. Prof. Elsharkawy is a registered professional engineer in Alberta (APEGGA), a member of the petroleum society, SPE, and AIChE. He is the recipient of The JCPT best published paper of the year 2006 and SPE Outstanding Technical Editor of the year 2008.
