Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma is a postdoctoral scholar at Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at University of Chicago. He did his undergraduate study in Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi, India. He then obtained his PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University. His PhD work focused on Monte Carlo simulations for faceted nanoparticles guided by Fernando Escobedo. Outside his research, he has contributed to the causes of diversity, equity and inclusion at Cornell. There he also helped produce a science communication podcast. Last year he was awarded the Austin Hooey Graduate Research Excellence Award - the highest award given to a graduate student of Chemical Engineering at Cornell for his scholarship and service.
