Researchers at the University of the West of England in Bristol have successfully printed electronic circuits onto dried kombucha mats and experiments showed they endured water, bending and burning. Researchers say the mats could be used for heart-rate monitors and other functions and are lighter and more flexible than current plastic or ceramic devices.
